(1) According to this Act, a person who gets a license to build a movie house must construct a movie house according to the approved map within two years from the date of obtaining the license. But if the person who gets such a license is unable to complete the construction of the movie theater within that period due to any reasonable reason, the state government can extend the period up to a maximum of two years from time to time.
(2) If the licensee fails to complete the construction of the movie theater within the time limit specified in sub-section (1), the license obtained by him shall be automatically revoked.
